Meagan Mackerer Marketing Strategist

 

Meagan Mackerer is a Marketing Consultant and owner of Mackerer Marketing. She helps businesses grow their revenues and client base through strategic, data-driven marketing. Meagan has consulted for national and international gaming and hospitality companies and directed the marketing efforts of local professional service providers. She offers expert guidance, business coaching, and marketing management and works directly with her clients on strategy development, branding, and communications plans.

 

Prior to opening her own firm in 2012, Meagan gained ten years of marketing and leadership experience with Caesars (formerly Harrah’s) Entertainment in Atlantic City. As Marketing Director, she oversaw large-scale campaigns and promotions, spearheaded hotel and food & beverage sales initiatives, and opened multiple hospitality venues and entertainment attractions. Meagan helped lead the database marketing efforts of four casinos after the acquisition of Caesars by Harrah’s Entertainment and was honored along with her team with a Chairman’s Award for achieving significant cost savings while attaining target revenue and profit levels.

 

Meagan holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. She is a Past President of the Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia, a member of the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce and on the board of NAWBO South Jersey. 

 

Melissa Goldstein, One Part Social Owner & Founder

 

As a former entertainment news writer, social media and branding strategist, Melissa brings a 20-year track record in small business consulting. She holds a best-in-class Hootsuite Certified designation in online content marketing and recently partnered with the Rutgers Small Business Development Center as a resource to help educate entrepreneurs on all things social media.

 

An early bird (morning riser) and early adapter of technology, Melissa has created a groundswell of engagement and awareness for her B2C and B2B clients. Whether crafting a 280-character tweet or blogging for a leading Forbes and Fox Business Network commentator, she gives clout to service industry start-ups and seasoned veterans. Her client roster spans locally-based enterprises in the health and wellness, financial advisement, and executive leadership industries. She loves helping small businesses grow.  

 

When she’s not Tweeting, Facebooking, or Googling analytics, Melissa is an outdoor enthusiast hitting the running and hiking trails – kids and dog happily in tow.

Mayor James Maley, Jr.
 

M. James Maley, Jr. is a Partner at Maley Givens, P.C. Mr. Maley regularly represents New Jersey municipalities, County agencies and private developers in the redevelopment of commercial, industrial and residential areas in projects utilizing public and private lands and funds. He regularly counsels governments and business interests on a broad spectrum of issues.

Since 1997, Jim Maley has served as the Mayor of the Borough of Collingswood, where he has served in elected office since 1989. In 2012, Collingswood was named “One of the Most Transformed Communities in America” by Forbes magazine. His experience as a local elected official, combined with a keen understanding of the law, has proven an invaluable resource in the counseling of government and business clients on a wide range of issues.

He is a frequent lecturer and speaker on redevelopment law. He serves as Special Counsel to a broad range of New Jersey municipalities, has acted as Special Counsel to county economic development offices and has served as Solicitor for New Jersey municipalities.

Mr. Maley has extensive litigation and trial experience in commercial and environmental matters. He has acted as trial counsel in employment, environmental, admiralty, insurance and general contract actions, including complex toxic tort and class action litigation. His trial experience is in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Maley is a member of the Executive Committee of the Camden County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund. He serves as the Chairman of the New Jersey League of Municipalities Economic Development Committee. Mr. Maley is also a member of the Maritime Law Association and the Camden County Bar Association.

This committee promotes the economic well-being of the region, with a focus on the well-being of the second largest employer in New Jersey, Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst (JBMDL). The committee follows legislative issues that impact the business community. Experience firsthand the current and future projects going on in Burlington County and the surrounding region. Through this committee, BCRCC provides and promotes resources and services to assist and help members grow their businesses as well as foster business engagement.

Managing Stress

This four-hour interactive course is designed to get participants thinking about how they handle stress. It is educational, motivating, and filled with tangible techniques that can be used right away.

Learning Outcomes

Upon course completion, participants will be able to:

· Understand the physiological stress response · Identify the symptoms of burnout and overload

· Identify the sources of stress in work life

· Change behaviors which add to stress

· Make changes to situations that can be influenced

· Develop positive responses to situations that cannot be changed

· Practice proper breathing and other stress relieving techniques

II. What Stresses You Out? List stress factors and behavior styles Techniques for removing workplace stress

III. Mind over Matter Attitude, Assumptions and Judgments Positive is a choice and not always easy Coping Mechanisms: breathing music, massage, stretching, yoga, etc. Practice

IV. Goal Setting Personalized goals for each participant to help combat everyday stress
