About our Speaker:
Roger D. Sarao is the Vice President of Health Economics & Policy for the Center for Health Analytics, Research & Transformation (CHART) within the New Jersey Hospital Association. CHART uses data, analytics and informatics to better understand New Jersey’s most pressing health challenges. NJHA is a policy and advocacy organization based in Princeton, New Jersey that represents acute care hospitals, specialty hospitals, long-term care facilities and other post-acute providers.
Before joining NJHA in 1997, Mr. Sarao spent five years with a leading New Jersey healthcare consulting firm. Mr. Sarao is actively involved in the New Jersey Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and currently serves as an ex-officio member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Sarao received a Master of Public Administration degree, with a concentration in Hospital Administration, from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University.
