Cross County Connection Transportation Management
Association is proud to announce that Ronda R. Urkowitz, P.P., AICP, has been
promoted to Executive Director of the organization. The post was recently vacated
by William J. Ragozine, who has retired after an impressive career of 25 dedicated
years of service. Previously, Ms. Urkowitz served as the Program Director of
Cross County Connection. In this capacity, she worked with local and county
governments, businesses, as well as varied, regional constituents alike, to address
the ever-changing commuting and transportation needs of residents and employees
here in southern New Jersey.
As Executive Director, Ms. Urkowitz is responsible for the overall management
and operations of all activities at Cross County Connection including
administrative functions, as well as technical and marketing programs. Ms. Urkowitz serves as the primary contact to
the organization’s Board of Trustees, members, funders and other supporters. Ms.
Urkowitz holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from The George
Washington University and specializes in transportation and land-use
Additionally, Ms. Urkowitz is a volunteer member of the
Green Team of Sustainable Voorhees, and
other, local non-profits. Ms. Urkowitz and her husband have two adult children,
and in her spare time, she is an avid golfer and participates in performance
sports with her dog.
